Concert
ST Peter’s Festival Choir are giving a carol concert on Saturday evening, April 27, at 7.30pm in Pilning Church.
There are many carols written which have nothing to do with Christmas, being about the different seasons of the year. This is ‘something different’ to what you might expect, but will be a pleasant change from the choir’s usual variety concerts.
There will be a retiring collection towards the church reordering funds.
Coffee Morning
THE ‘Knitting Ladies’ invite you to their Coffee and Cake morning’ at Mafeking Hall, Pilning on Wednesday, May 1 at 10.30am.
“You will be absolutely amazed," said WI Organiser, Pearl John at the amount of beautifully knitted clothes on display. Last year they sent 600 garments to Romania.
Donations of wool are always gratefully received. Call Pearl on 01454 632028.
