POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a crash in Wickwar left a man and woman hospitalised.
Officers were called to the junction of High Street and Station Road yesterday after a car ploughed into a wall shortly after 2pm.
Other emergency services also attended the scene, including the air ambulance which landed at about 2.20pm.
A man and woman in the car were both left injured as a result of the crash. The man, in his 60s, remains in Southmead Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. His condition is said to be “comfortable.”
The woman was treated for an arm injury but has since been released.
Collision investigation officers investigated the scene of the incident and the road was reopened again shortly before 5pm.
