DETECTIVES are investigating the death of a man in Bristol.
At around 9.55am this morning, Sunday, Avon & Somerset police were called to a report that a body had been found on Clifton Down in the city.
Upon arrival police found a body of an adult male at the location. Formal identification of the man has not yet taken place.
An investigation is underway to establish the circumstances of his death and it is currently being treated as unexplained.
There is a road closure in place between the junction of Ladies Mile and Clifton Down and the junction of Ladies Mile and Circular Road while police continue their enquiries at the scene.
