A WOMAN was treated for smoke inhalation after a blaze broke out at a home in Drybrook. 

Fire control received a call to a property on fire at The Branch, Drybrook, at 9.56pm yesterday. The resident who flagged up the situation had spotted smoke coming from a neighbouring house.

Two fire appliances from Cinderford Community Fire Station were mobilised and were at the scene for a total of one and a half hours.

The fire was dealt with using two hose reels, four lots of breathing apparatus and a positive pressure ventilation fan.

One female was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation.
