A MAN who was stabbed outside an Indian restaurant in Winterbourne has been discharged from hospital and is recuperating at home.
The 41-year-old victim was attacked outside the Taj Brasserie on the High Street at 12.45am on April 18. Police said he required an operation at Southmead Hospital following the assault but has now been discharged from hospital and is recuperating at home.
Two boys, aged 16 and 17, were arrested following the incident and have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Avon and Somerset Constabulary said it was still keen to speak to potential witnesses. Anyone with information is asked to call 101 and quote reference number 5216081699.
