DAFFODIL bulbs were planted to celebrate 20 years since the 1st Falfield and Stone Brownies unit was reopened.
They planted 200 bulbs on the verge outside Falfield Village Hall and are hoping for a beautiful spring display.
The children’s group have been in Falfield and Stone since 1974 but the unit was closed in 1995 for one year. It has been a popular and active unit ever since.
1st Falfield and Stone brownies are looking for volunteers to keep the unit running for many more years to come.
If anyone has memories, photos or stories of 1st Falfield and Stone Brownies, especially before 1996, or is interested in helping at the unit please email: brownowl@1fsb.co.uk.
