A HOME in Gloucestershire won the UK’s Worst View competition last year and now the competition has returned.

The online blinds retailer, Direct Blinds, is searching for entries from Gloucestershire featuring the most awful views from their homes.

The company’s Managing Director, David Roebuck, said: “Last year our winner was a homeowner in Gloucestershire who looks out onto a car park every day, but this year we want to find a view that’s even worse.”

They have set up the competition to win a set of blinds worth £250. To see other photo entries of people’s most terrible views, or to upload yours and enter the competition visit the company’s blog at http://www.directblinds.co.uk/blog/direct-blinds-room-with-a-view/.

They are particularly interested in pictures of rooms that oversee an unsightly building site, or views ruined by roads, litter or brick walls. David added: “We hope those from Gloucestershire, who can only dream of a beautiful scene, take the time to enter our competition for a chance to improve their living space with a brand new set of blinds”.

It’s the company based in North Yorkshire third competition. They supply blinds to customers nationwide and their products are made in the UK. There website is http://www.directblinds.co.uk/.
