A DRIVER who damaged a property in a crash in Thornbury and then fled the scene has been penalised.
Janos Beer, aged 20, of West Street, Oldland Common, Bristol, pleaded guilty to a charge of failing to stop after an accident at Bristol Magistrates' Court on Thursday, July 27.
The court heard how Beer was involved in a road accident which damaged a property in St David's Road, Thornbury between January 19 and January 31 this year.
Beer was given 150 hours of unpaid work as part of a community order and banned from driving for six months.
He must also pay a victim surcharge of £114 plus £85 in costs - a total of £199.
