A WOMAN from Dursley is to be sentenced for maltreating a child.
The woman faced one charge of acting in a manner which was likely to cause unnecessary suffering or injury to the health of a child.
The charge is dated between October 1, 2019 and December 1, 2019 in Dursley.
The charge on the court register was: 'wilfully assaulted, ill-treated, neglected, abandoned or exposed a child in a manner likely to cause unnecessary suffering or injury to health.'
The woman appeared at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on Monday, where she indicated plea of guilty.
The case was adjourned and she will be sentenced at Gloucester Crown Court on October 17.
