AN URGENT search is underway in Gloucestershire after a person attended hospital with a gunshot wound, police say.
It is understood an incident recently took place at an address in the Robinswood area of Gloucester.
The person sustained a leg injury and they are not believed to be in a life-threatening condition.
According to Gloucestershire Police, searches for those involved are ongoing, but no arrests have been made so far.
The force has not yet revealed the gender or named the alleged victim.
A police spokesperson said: “An investigation is ongoing after a person presented at hospital with an injury which is suspected to have been caused by a firearm.
“Police were notified at around 10.45am today, Saturday, February 24, and searches have been ongoing to locate those involved.
“The victim sustained a leg injury and they are not believed to be in a life-threatening condition.
“Officers are in the early stages of the investigation and at this time it is believed that this is an isolated incident.”
