A MAN from Yate has been sentenced for sending offensive messages.
Joseph Walsh, aged 38, of Normandy Drive, Yate, admitted sending two offensive messages between August 2 and August 5 last year.
The court register states both messages were grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character.
The case was heard at Bristol Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, February 20.
He was fined £80 and ordered to pay a surcharge of £32 plus £85 in costs - a total of £197.
