A MAN from Yate has been sentenced after harassing a woman.
Anthony Jarvis, aged 39, of Hale Road, Yate, pleaded guilty to harassment without violence by sending the woman abusive messages between July 14 and August 20 last year.
The case was heard at Bristol Magistrates Court on Tuesday, March 5.
He was ordered to pay £114 in compensation and a £86 surcharge - a total of £200.
Jarvis was ordered to abstain from drinking alcohol for 90 days and to undergo 42 days of mental health treatment.
A restraining order was also activated banning Jarvis from speaking to the woman until 2028.
