CAM’S finished their Gloucestershire County League Division One season in second place after their clash with fourth-placed Kingsholm was abandoned.
Cam finish behind leaders Circencester with Westbury-on-Severn in third place.
But it came close to a result as Cam made 216-8 in their 45 overs with Ben Holloway top scoring with 61 and brother Adam Holloway, opening hitting 40. Tom Deakin at number six also hit 40.
Skipper Peter Hall took two wickets in seven overs as Cam had Kingsholm on 151-5 before the rain came down and the game was called off.
