WOTTON made the journey to Cinderford Town for this last 16 League Cup fixture.
Wotton started well however and took a deserved lead with captain Jamie Stacey blasting home.
The hosts scored two breakaway goals against the run of play and went in 2-1 up at half-time.
With the wind behind them Wotton played most of the second half in Cinderford’s half and well taken goals from Ethan Smith (2) plus a beauty from Jack Powell eventually saw Rovers triumph 4-2 and progress in to the quarter final stages.
